I build production front-ends for products that carry real money — a national streaming platform, a car marketplace, an e-signature system on Uzbekistan’s national standard, and two travel booking platforms.

02Who I am

About

Portrait of Izzat Azimov

I am a front-end developer in Tashkent, four years into building products with real consequences — a national streaming platform, a car marketplace, legally-binding e-signature on Uzbekistan’s national standard, and two travel booking systems. Eleven platforms, 3,400+ commits, and on eight of them I was the single largest contributor.

The part I would point at is not the feature count. Most of my hardest bugs have been failures of timing rather than logic — state read before it exists. A cache that was correct at build time and quietly wrong in every production render. A store that rendered its empty initial value and wrote that over a saved application. A countdown computed from a timestamp that was not set yet, so NaN > 0 was false and a button stayed live exactly when it should have locked.

I ship in Uzbek, Russian and English on nearly everything I build, and I treat localisation as correctness rather than translation — a fallback cascade that silently serves the wrong language is a bug, not a backlog item. Agency conditions suit me: several teams at once, code review, and a date somebody has already promised a client.

04Where I have worked

Experience

Udevs

Current

Front-End Developer · Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Apr 2023 — Present

Agency work: front-ends for clients across streaming, travel, government e-signature, marketplaces, higher education and manufacturing — usually two or three products in flight at once.

  • Lead front-end engineer on Central Tour, a Next.js 16 monorepo serving a consumer travel site and a B2B agency console from one codebase — 552 of 989 commits, the largest contributor
  • Primary maintainer of UZDIGITAL TV’s Vue 2 operator console (463 of 896 commits) and owner of the consumer site’s hls.js playback stack across five content sources
  • Created the E-Dokument cabinet and integrated E-IMZO, Uzbekistan’s national e-signature standard, over its CAPIWS WebSocket bridge — then migrated the live product from Next.js 15 to Vite 7
  • Built mb.uz, a car marketplace, from an empty repository to a live bilingual monetised product — 493 of 573 commits in six months
  • Sole author of the application code in UTAS’s proctored online entrance exam, released in under three weeks and used to score real university admissions
  • Shipped booking features across seven Vite Module Federation microfrontends on easyto.travel, owning the host shell’s authentication and outage-handling layer
  • Converted whole products from desktop-only to responsive by building shared primitives first — drawer selects, card-layout tables, mobile date pickers — so the page-level work stayed thin

Bellissimo

Front-End Developer · Contract · Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Sep 2025 — Feb 2026

A contract engagement across three codebases of a pizza chain operating in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan: the customer storefront, the delivery-operations back office, and the courier’s own app.

  • Owned the Click Mini App integration end to end for five months and passed Click’s review into production
  • Built the courier payroll back office from an empty repository — 91% of that repository’s history
  • Cut Next.js build time from 6.5 minutes to about 2 (~70%) and eliminated 700+ redundant API calls per build
  • Shipped a four-language courier registration app with IndexedDB persistence and browser-side HEIC conversion
  • Ran a crash-free-sessions campaign against a production Sentry stream, including the top SSR crash
  • Fixed cross-browser defects that were blocking orders outright, including a Safari-only blank city modal
  • 220 commits and 60 merged Azure DevOps pull requests across the three repositories

Kervanyol Technologies

Feb 2023 — May 2023

  • Automated B2B invoicing and contract management by integrating the Didox.uz API, cutting document turnaround
  • Integrated E-IMZO signature authentication for identity verification and compliant document signing

05What I have built

Selected Work

Eleven platforms across streaming, travel, marketplaces, e-signature, customs and trade, education and manufacturing. The chip on each card names the context: most are Udevs, Bellissimo was a contract engagement, EximERP was built at Kervanyol, and 1SONIA was a solo build. Every figure is counted from the git history of the repository it describes.
